'March of Dimes' Fundraiser Set For April 10 | Community Spirit

The Fresno Unified School District would like to invite the community to join employees at a March of Dimes fundraiser as part of a district-wide effort to raise money to fight infant mortality, birth defects and premature births.

The fundraiser will be held on Tuesday, April 10, 2012, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at Yosemite Falls Cafe in Granite Park (4020 N. Cedar Avenue, Fresno).

District employees have donated a variety of themed baskets, each worth $150, for a silent auction. The community and employees are invited to bid on the baskets, with all proceeds going to the March of Dimes. 

The evening will include social time on the patio with no-host beverage and off-the-menu restaurant service available.

The district's March of Dimes fundraising efforts will culminate with the annual Walk for Babies on April 14 at Woodward Park.
